Feverlet HD Make-Up BB Cream SPF30/PA++
Claim:
Much like previous Feverlet BB Cream, I don’t see lots of claim for Feverlet HD BB Cream.
My Skin Type:
Actually very oily, but surpressed with BHA exfoliator. Results in generally ranging from very dry to normal/combo skin. Generally dehydrated, very sensitive, and acne prone.
My Skin Tone:
Some said I have very fair, Casper-ish complexion. Frankly speaking, that’s what you see in my FOTDs, but I personally think I look (much) darker in person than in those photos. Still, yes, I’m quite fair.
Bottomline: my skintone range is lighter than MAC NC/NW15 to NC/NW20.
I have neutral cool undertone.
Packaging:
Very pretty gold/brown plastic tube. Practical for travelling.
Color Selection:
Only 1 color is available, and it seems to blend well into my fair skin. The cream looks like it has pink undertone, but the finish is kinda neutral/yellow on me. Not jaundice or anything, just not very pink.
I think it’s lighter than the previous Feverlet BB Cream.
Texture:
Nice cream-fluid.
Coverage:
Sheer-medium, much like other BB creams. I have a lot of red acne scars, and this product helps to even out my skintone.
Blendability:
Very good, especially if I use a great primer beforehand.
Finish:
Semi-matte? It gives a glow, but not over the top at all.
Oil Control:
Not a problem. I have normal/combo skin right now, and I still have to blot at noon. I have to blot anyway, regardless of that foundation/BB/TM I’m using. Definitely more oil controlling that the old Feverlet BB Cream.
Other girls with combo skin on the forum said this BB is pretty good at oil controlling.
My General Review:
Thank goodness I got to try this BB cream, because I *love* this! Lately my skin is more combination (previously it was very dry, what a swing!), and the old Feverlet somehow is very shiny and oily on me. I get tons of blemishes lately too, so my skin is definitely not on its prime. Feverlet is just too sheer to fix the problem.
The HD counterpart however, fix the gap. The texture is a bit different, the old Feverlet seems to be creamier, but even so the HD version glides on very well, giving sheer-medium coverage. It’s much more oil controlling, and lasts through out the day without oxidizing. Furthermore, it has SPF30/PA++! The previous version doesn’t have any SPF.
All in all I personally think it’s a high quality BB cream. Definitely an improvement of the old Feverlet BB Cream.
Price:
I think this retails at around KRW45,000. Expensive, yes, but for me this will last a long time.
Availability:
Mostly available in Korea of course. 50ml tube, I got this as a boxed set with 15ml mini tube as a bonus.
Ingredients:
I can find no full ingredient list on the internet or in the box
At least one in English.
What Else You Need To Know:
Regardless of those skin caring ingredients, you still have to wash BB creams completely. This is still a makeup product.
Another tip: I personally think that BB creams reflect lights pretty darn well. It can make you look *very* glowy and white. In person, I’m not as white as I looked in those FOTD pics.
Overall Rating:
5 out of 5. A high quality BB cream. Cosmetically, this is definitely an improvement to the previous version. More coverage, more oil control, more staying power, more UV protection with great texture. I strongly prefer this HD version to the old one.

Almost 2 weeks of no-show. What else can it be? Work (and office’s political climate) has been more frustrating than ever. That equals….some haul
Just kidding. My HG NARS Loose Powder and Stila Illuminating Powder Foundation already gone half, so I think it’s time to try out some other powders. In case I don’t like the new items, I still have a BNIB NARS waiting for me anyway
And some other things as well, of course.

Feverlet HD Sample Packs
Yep, 60 packs of Feverlet HD, ready stock. If you’re interested in buying these, just drop me an email: crescent.shadow -at- gmail – dot- com. IDR8,000 per pack excluding shipping. Sold out!

Skinfood, Palgantong, Dior...And Samples
My interest in Skinfood Buckwheat Loose Powder never past its pretty packaging. I tried it several times in store on my hands, and I think the powder is not fine enough. But there are raves for this, even comparing this to high end powders like MAC. So I decided to get the Lavender colored one, and see how it competes with my HG NARS/Stila LP
Contrary to the LPP, Skinfood Apple White Sun Pact SPF25/PA++ is not pretty. At least for me
It’s a white plastic case embossed with Skinfood logo. Too plain. I love the Mochi Pact SPF25/PA++ packaging much better, but I’ve been eyeing on this Apple White Pact for a while.
I got several samples from Skinfood: Rice Mask Wash Off and Black Raspberry Emulsion. I’ve heard good things about the Rice mask, so I’m keen to try it
Other than Skinfood, I also got the famous Palgantong Theatrical Powder in Light Beige. This is said to be popular in Korea and Japan. I’ve previously used Chacott Loose Powder, dubbed #1 LP by a beauty magazine in Japan. Let’s see how Palgantong perfoms, compared to Chacott.
And I did say in the previous post that Dior 5-Color Eyeshadow in Stylish Move seems to be a bit too sheer for my liking (except for the deepest color), but I can’t even resist that palette when I saw a used travel size version, bundled with Rouge Dior in VIP Rose going on just IDR75,000 (~USD7)
Very eager to try them both tomorrow, yay!
The rest in that pic is just some samples from the seller
Chanel Blanc Essentiel Hydra Protective Whitening Emulsion SPF10/PA++, Guerlain Super Aqua Night Recovery Balm, Anna Sui Whitening Mask.
BTW, my father has just got back tonight from a week trip to Malaysia. He asked me what cosmetics do I want, what a confusing question
Since I never use his money to buy my needs like novels, clothes, shoes, and cosmetics! He was at Watsons buying Olay Total Effects for himself though (he’s old, so his skin dried up and feels uncomfortable, according to him), so I asked him to get me some more sunscreen by Olay or something. He called me that he found these items:

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch SPF50/PA+++, Olay White Radiance UV Blocker SPF30/PA++
I’ve used the Olay White Radiance UV Blocker SPF30/PA++ before, my mom bought it for me in Guangzhou, China years ago. Until now this product is not available in Indonesia
The packaging is different from before though, maybe it has been reformulated? Or just a packaging change? I’ll try it tomorrow.
As for the Neutrogena, I have a friend who swears by Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch SPF30, but my father was in a hurry to catch the flight, and he said SPF50 on the phone so I thought…whatever. I’ll just try the SPF50 first, compare my experience with reviews in MUA and maybe got my bf bought the SPF30 version in Singapore.
That’s all! Not too much, isn’t it?
I’ll try to review each and every one of them, but as I always said, my haul speed is much faster in my review speed
It’s been hard to review items lately, since zits popping out non stop out of nowhere, and I don’t even change my regime! Maybe it was super stressed by my late lifestyle. Lack of sleep, combined with frequent restaurant visit. Sushi Tei, Cafe Cartel, Din Tai Fung, Pasta de Waraku, Es Teler 77, all in one week. Not too mention other nearby diners I’ve gone to this weekend. Very satisfying indeed, yet horrible at the same time, considering all the fats in there
This is a combined haul. Some just arrived, some were from last month(s)

Feverlet HD Make-Up BB Cream
Yup it’s the Feverlet HD BB! Look at the pretty golden brown lacey box!
Freshly received from Korea. I used EMS again, this time it takes 4 days to reach me. Not bad..

Feverlet HD Make-Up BB Cream
The box contain 2 tubes of Feverlet HD BB. A full size 50ml tube, and a mini 15ml travel size tube. I’ve agreed with my friend that I’ll take the mini one. Tried it today, and it’s seems great! It has SPF30/PA++ too. An improvement from the old Feverlet BB indeed. I’ll surely review it later
Aside from Feverlet, I also get some more BRTC items

BRTC Lot
On the first row: Ice Green Tea Fluid, Ice Green Tea Serum, Aqua Rush Serum, V-Shaping Ampoule, Perfect Calming Serum, Blemish Restore.
Second row: mini tubes of Whitening and Wrinkle BB Cream, Perfect Calming Cream.
Third row; the sachets: Perfect Protect 46, Gold Caviar BB Cream, Jasmin Water BB Cream, Perfect Recover BB Cream, Protect Multiplex BB Cream.

BRTC Skincare Products
There, my BRTC skincare products. I know some ladies in the forum are itching to hear my reviews. Patience babes, I’ve just tried the Green Tea items, and I think it’s only fair if we give some time for the skincare to work, before reviewing it

BRTC Jasmin Water BB Cream
Sure, I didn’t just get the sample packs, but the full tube too
I was given a sample before and I loveeee this BB cream a lot! Even though I’m wary actually…it claims to have 5% Jasmine Water, ugh. Jasmine is an irritant
But the finish it gives is lovely. D’oh! Why am I ranting after I get the item anyway?
Leave the non-sense alone. I didn’t just get BRTC you know. I warmly welcome Skin79 Diamond Collection too!

Skin79 Precious Diamond BB Cream SPF25/PA++ & Sun Balm Moist SPF50/PA+++
Ignore the blurry mess please
I also *LOVE* this BB cream a lot, I’m tempted to buy the Skin79 mini set
The texture is light fluid cream that is easy to blend, the color is light enough for me, it gives sheer-medium coverage, and stay bright even after 17 hours with minimum touch up!
And at first, I want to get the BRTC Sun Balm….but I spotted this Skin79 Diamond Sun Balm cheap. Around USD10 shipped? Plus LotusPalace said the texture is wonderful too. I didn’t regret it. The texture is divine, I tell you. It doesn’t feel like sunscreen at all! It’s like a primer balm. It feels siliconey, makes the skin feels ultra smooth without greasy feeling. Makeup glides on top *very* easily. I said before that I need primer to help my BB cream blends on top of non greasy sunscreen, with this, not anymore! Seems to help control oil too? Perfection.
In fact, I may use this as my primer. It’s that good! I’ll use it for longer time, and then full review sure to follow.
In the mean time…

Miscellaneous Lot
Here are non-korean items; MUFE Sculpting Kit #1, MUFE Aqua Eyes #2L, Shu Uemura LE Eyeshadow Palette (Fantasia? Forget the name), Paul & Joe Primer #1, Paul & Joe Protective Fluid Foundation, Clarins UV Plus SPF40/PA+++.
And the boring, yet totally essential items:

Paula's Choice Serum & Hydrating Mask
Despite all those BRTC lot, honestly, my main skincare will still be PC and Clinique or some Estee Lauder. My skin hate fragrances you know
So I restocked my Paula’s Choice Skin Recovery Super Antioxidant Concentrate. There’s no way I’ll live without this
And the Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment Mask. Highly recommended for very dry skin. I use this as night cream, twice a week now. It used to be every night
That’s all! D’oh, I need to religiously add reviews. Seriously, the number of items keep on piling, yet my old items are not reviewed — yet.
Dear cavano tipped me off on this one. I just know that the HD craze has already swept the BB nation!

Feverlet HD Makeup BB Cream
I found no details yet on this one, but for sure it has SPF30/PA++, while the old one doesn’t have any SPF. The price, however, is insane. At KRW48,000, I think it’s even pricier than BRTC Protect Multiplex BB Cream.
I wish they sell samples on this one!
Sold out!
For those ladies asking me about Feverlet BB cream samples, here it is:

Feverlet BB Cream
Claim:
Never see a lot of claims, most of Feverlet’s info is available in Korean only
All I know is that this brand is created by popular makeup artist. It seems to be considered as high end brand.
My Skin Type:
Ranging from very dry to normal/dry. Sensitive, acne prone.
Packaging:
Sleek blackened purple with pump with 35ml of content, as far as I can see. Seems really elegant and travel friendly? Can’t really tell since all I own is a bunch of samples
Color Selection:
Only 1 color is available, and it seems to blend well into my fair skin. One of the lightest BB cream I’ve ever used. The cream does have pink undertone IMHO.
Texture:
Light cream, almost fluid.
Coverage:
Sheer, it won’t cover major discolorations. It will only evens out your skintone, much like a tinted moisturizer.
It doesn’t cover pores as well as I like it to be, but it’s acceptable. I can’t say it smooths the texture of my skin very much, maybe because I don’t have a ton of problems on my face, just pores and good old reddish acne scars (non pitted, thankfully). But I’ve seen several photos from Nicole’s blog, and it seems to be *very* smooth on her. Very visible before and after improvements, it hides blackheads very well too.
Blendability:
Even though it’s not as fluid as BRTC Perfect Soothing BB Cream, Feverlet BB has a lot of slip, so blending is easy. I personally think BRTC Perfect Soothing and Feverlet are the best BB cream in terms of texture.
What really differentiate Feverlet from other BB/foundations/TMs is that after several seconds, it will really sinks to your skin and looking invisible, while at the same time perfecting your skin.
Finish:
Semi matte. Looks very good under natural light, makes my skin looks healthy.
BTW, after observing….I think on my skin it’s similar to my favorite BB: Missha Perfect Cover SPF42/PA+++. I personally think it’s the sheerer, more imperceptible version of Missha PC.
Oil Control:
Not supposed to be great. I always see in sprees that this BB cream is meant for dry skin. I agree, it’s best for dry or normal/dry skin.
My General Review:
I got into this BB cream because of several rave reviews, mainly my a friend and after seeing Nicole’s before and after pics. I’m not disappointed, I think it’s one of the best BB creams.
Like other BB creams, I don’t find major skincare effect from this, but prolonged use makes my skin softer.
It’s fragranced, too bad. I prefer non-scented products, but this doesn’t seem to cause problems. Another drawback: it has no SPF. But I usually wear sunscreen underneath, so I hope it’s okay.
Price:
Outside Korea, price is generally exorbitant. It retails at around USD40 at ebay. Best and easiest source to get Feverlet online is from GMarket, you can get it at around USD15-20 (excl. shipping). I get 50 packs of sample from GMarket at only USD12. That already includes shipping with EMS. Those packs equal 2 full size tube. A true bargain
Availability:
As far as I know, only available in Korea at the moment? Otherwise, you can get it from sprees.
Ingredients:
I can’t find full ingredients of this products on the net
And since I don’t own full tube, I can’t tell as well. All I know is that there seems to be a claim that main ingredient includes Kinetin, Vitamin-C, Arbutin, Centella, Liposome, Green Tea Extract, Hyaluronic acid. That sounds great.
If you can help me with the full ingredient list, I’m really thankful
What Else You Need To Know:
Regardless of those skin caring ingredients, you still have to wash BB creams completely. This is still a makeup product.
Another tip: I personally think that BB creams reflect lights pretty darn well. It can make you look *very* glowy and white. In person, I’m not as white as I looked in those FOTD pics.
Overall Rating:
5 out of 5. Can’t find any reason to go against this product. I love Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream better, but I think it’ll be unfair if I give Feverlet a lower rating, since the quality is not lower. Great quality, just sheerer than Missha.

Feverlet BB Cream Sample Packs
My first order from GMarket arrived today morning!
It’s a box containing 50 sample packs of Feverlet BB Cream, worth a little bit more than 2 full size tube of the cream. All that for about US$15 shipped. Is that a bargain or what?
I will test it out tomorrow and review it later.
Happy New Year everyone!
