FOTD: Supportin’ In Stila

This is my FOTD when I joined the supporters for my division’s Volley team. This look is not exactly ‘..in Stila’, honestly But I like the sound….and hey! Even Laker Girls are wearing Stila!

Like always, my daily look is super quick and simple. Almost effortless. I only look to brighten my overall face so I wouldn’t look like a walking zombie Overall the look only took me around 10-15 minutes in the making.

Supportin' In Stila

Face:

Skinfood Mushroom BB Cream SPF20/PA+.
Applied with fingers in short strokes motion, and then buffed with a The Face Shop foundation sponge.

NARS Loose Powder in Snow.
Pressed down with a The Face Shop flocking puff.

MUFE HD Loose Powder.
As a finishing touch. Pressed down with The Face Shop flocking puff, then buffed with Everyday Minerals Long Handled Kabuki.

Skinfood Apple White Sun Pact SPF25/PA++.
Used to touch up the makeup and replenish SPF protection throughout the day. Applied with The Face Shop foundation sponge.

Eyes:

Stila x CanCam 10th Anniversary Palette.
Medium cool pink all over the lids. Chocolate in crease, blended upward. Pale champage under the browbone. All applied with ELF Eyeshadow Brush.

MUFE Aqua Eyes in 2L.
It’s a bronzey brown color. Lined the upper lash line with it, and dotted it on the outer half of the lower rim for very subtle definition.

Stila Eyebrow Sets in Medium.
Applied with MAC #208 Angled Brow Brush.

Cheek:

NARS Angelika.
Applied with Everyday Minerals Flat Top Kabuki.

Lips:

I think I ate all the Stila Lip Glaze Stick in Plum My lips are already bare in the pic.

Look Of The Month Palettes (Nordstrom Exclusive)

Look of The Month look books.  These was sold as empty pans exclusive to Nordstrom, and then Stila would lay out a look each month, with which you can fill up the pans. Of course, you’re free to fill them up with something else entirely, and that’s the case with the private collector from whom I bought these palettes.

August Haul Revealed Part 2: Malaysian Stila

Finally the detailed revealing of the 3-kg-worth-of-Stila!

I bought all these from Dear Miu. A fellow blogger, Stila addict, and a personal shopper! A very good one at that, may I add.

Thanks to her, I get my hands on some of Asian exclusive goodies. The most precious of them all is the Stila Girlfriends vanity case. This is Malaysian exclusive, if I’m not mistaken! So unique and rare, it’s currently the crown jewel of my Stila collection!

Stila Girlfriends Traincase

Lavender, girly, flowery, with a Stila Girl illustration. So very Stila.

Inside, it’s loaded with items I purchased from Miu. Thanks to her personal shopper service, I can grab items which was on sale in Malaysia — be it warehouse sale or the closing sale.

Stila Angel White SPF26/PA++ Compacts, Refill, Sponges

First up, the Stila Angel White SPF26/PA++ in Shade A, and its compact. This powder foundation is Asian exclusive. Miu threw in the sponges as freebie, thanks a lot!

Eye Stuffs

Some eye stuffs.

Kitten Silk Shimmer Wash — a shimmery champagne wash. Seems it will serve as a good base for your eyeshadow!

Convertible Eye Color in Stone — I love convertible eye color. It’s simple and versatile, and the liner is uber soft and smooth and the staying power is simply amazing! Stone is a shimmery brown shadow with a black/brown eyeliner.

Glitter Eye Liner in Pink. This was a Asian exclusive, and then it went on sale at Stila Cosmetics. It’s a glittery liquid liner. Haven’t used them, but I think it’s a nice way to highlight your eyes. Gonna test it on my lower rims!

Miu threw in an extra here too: Champara Matte Eye Shadow. Girl, you’re too generous, you know that?

Lip Stuffs

Lip stuffs. It’s rare to see me hauling lip stuffs more than eye stuffs….since I rarely using lip products. But Miu has a lot to offer me!

Lip Rouge in Beam. It’s a fuchsia liquid lip stain and Miu threw it in as a freebie, again! No words to describe her generosity, seriously.

Kitten Silk Shimmer Gloss. It got bad reviews but I’ve tried it a few times and I think it’s fabulous. Champagne nude in color, very moist and glossy.

Pon Pon Gerbera Lip Glaze. It completes my collection on Pon Pon Gerbera, as I already have the eyeshadow palette and blush pan

Lip Glaze Stick in Berry plus sharpener. I love it! It’s my first Lip Glaze Stick, so convenient! I always pictured stick products as drying on lips but I was wrong.

Cherry Crush Lip & Cheek Stain. To accompany my Pomegranate Crush. I haven’t tried Cherry Crush, but heard it’s a gel version of Benetint. If so, then I expect to love this

Plumping Lip Glaze in Melon Mint. Haven’t tried it but Fuz’s swatches on Plumping Lip Glaze got me allured. Plus unlike other lip plumper, Stila Plumping Lip Glaze doesn’t contain irritant! Yay!

SPF20 Shine Lip Color in Sarah. It’s baby pink. It’s seems not so drying. It got SPF20. What more a Wortel can ask for?

Unlike my previous experience with private shopper I met on a certain forum, my experience with Miu is definitely awesome. Communication was quick and polite and fun, the personal shopper service fee is not too outrageous, she’s super nice, kind, generous and all, and she ships her items fast! She shipped it on Friday, and on the next Monday, the items already arrived at my bf’s office at Singapore! And since she wrapped it securely, everything came intact. Lots of bubble wrap and shock absorbers for the babies

Miu the personal shopper gets my highest recommendation. A+ seller!

August Haul Revealed Part 1: Watsons Singapore

Following up on the my last Singapore trip’s shopping wrap up, here are the items that I take home from Singapore. I know…it’s not even August now But I hadn’t got the chance to take the pics and transfer them to my laptop.

The post supposed to be a bit long, so I decided to split them based on the source First up is one small haul from Watsons Singapore.

Yup, Watsons Singapore has a lot of house brand facial masks to choose from! The ingredients are not that different across the selection But don’t you think it’s cute just to have several different boxes lined up on your mask vanity? Same case for the My Beauty Diary sheet masks

I forgot to include the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Waterlight SPF50+/PA+++ in the pic though No worries, just jump ahead and see the pic in my review!

Stila Girl Is Back!

I saw the Sephora-exclusive Kitten Set a couple days back, when Stila buzzed me up on the new Kitten lip glaze. I didn’t think much about it, since the lip glaze look pretty but I’m not a big fan of the Kitten eyeshadow fan, as I prefer cooler shades. But I gave a second look on the set and then realized that it is adorned with Stila girl! Yes, the Stila girl drawing the original Stila fans love!

Stila Kitten Set (Sephora-exclusive, US$18)

For tons of long time Stila fan, Stila girl illustrations add up to the fun of collecting the product itself. Many of them collected Stila because of the Stila girl.

It was later diminished (by Estee Lauder?); no more Stila girl in as a product covers. Since then, they only existed in the promotion banners.

So maybe the casual/newer Stila fans can’t understand the fascination, but I’m personally is very happy with the come back! Now I want the set I’m interested in the lip glaze anyway…but it’s US$18. It doesn’t sound really expensive, and it’s cheaper anyway than buying the full size Kitten lip glaze alone (with no Stila girl on it ). But I’ll get another Kitten pan. Which I already have, and I don’t use it really all that often. And it’s Sephora-only and they don’t ship to outside US! Hope the item will pop up in e(vil)Bay! I’ll decide by then

2009 Singapore Trip Day One: Haul Day!

Time for short wrap up of my recent trips!

I arrived in Singapore on Thusday, August 13, 2009 night. So nothing left to do, except for crashing at hotel bed haha. The very next day, I decided that it’s an Orchard day I can tell you I was like a kid in the playground! Goodness how I envy Singaporean. They have lots of brands to choose from at their local counter! From Olay to Neutrogena. Cetaphil. Nuxe to Lierac. La Roche Posay. Avene. Eucerit. SANA to Majolica Majorca. Canmake. Fasio. Fancl. Cle de Peau. To standbys like MAC, Stila, Bobbi Brown, Chanel, Dior. Wide selection indeed, for someone who live in Indonesia!

Singapore Haul!

Not that many, eh? I went tad too ecstatic at Watsons Ngee Ann My bf was not helping at all. He took a leave from his office, accompany me and held the shoppping basket and every time I scrutinize an item, he would offer the basket But in the end I didn’t took too many. The feeling of bankruptcy suddenly crept in before I paid the whole lot

It’s already combined with the 3-kg-Stila-box. So why it doesn’t look like several kg worth of Stila?

Well….simply because the star of the haul is kinda heavy The lavender Stila traincase on the right is around 1.5kg ^^;

Aside from shopping, I took time and watched Up at Cathay Cineleisure Orchard

My bf can’t accompany me to watch it in Jakarta, so we had to watch it there. I don’t really like the Cineleisure Orchard, I think Jakarta’s XXI Cineplex is just as comfortable (if not better), and is much cheaper (esp. because I have a BCA credit card, so 50% off )

Anyway, it’s a great, well executed movie. Very touching too. As expected from Disney Pixar

Stila Starlet By Night…a.k.a Barbie Loves Stila Talking Palette. I think this was released Spring 2009.

Stila Must Haves, Re:Orient Mystic Pearl, Re:Orient Lotus Bloom

A palette from Stila Must Haves…includes Champagne, Ray, Saville, Twig. I’ve seen this a couple of times but I don’t know which year it came from! It’s not the 2004 Must Haves, not 2005 Must Haves Set either.

Stila Rose Moon, Stila Fierce Femme in Fierce Plum, Stila Confections For Eyes/Cheeks

Stila Rose Moon. This comes with FOUR eyeshadows (Cassia, Poise, Plum, and a silvery pink), a blush, 1 lipgloss, and a lipstick with THREE eyeshadow brushes. Some said the brushes are flimsy but I’m okay with that. I’m quite content with own e/s brushes Anyway, this came from Holiday 2005 collection.

Stila Fierce Femme palette in Fierce Plum. This came from Fall 2004. I swatched it last night and it’s *very* soft and pigmented!

Stila Confections For Eyes&Cheeks….I’m not sure about the year. Was it 2003?

Stila High Tea Darjeeling Floral

Stila High Tea LE in Daarjeling Floral. High Tea was from Spring 2003? I’m not sure about that. Anyone can help me out?

That’s all at the moment Not too much, eh? I still have 3kgs worth of Stila products and LE makeup case in Singapore! They’re too heavy and big my bf can’t take it home this weekend, so I’m going there to pick them up at the middle of August In the mean time, some other Stila palettes are supposedly on their way from US. Hope they’ll arrive safely soon.

Mini Haul: Silk Naturals + Lunasol

Been missing for a bit, work got so hectic this week. I had to act for 2 missing team member (they had to do roadshows to Regional offices while I prefer to stay at the headquarter). Can’t even finish writing Chanel review, don’t even have time to upload June’s haul pic!

I’ll upload June’s haul later; but today I get 2 packages!

The first one is from Silk Naturals. Been waiting for the package for a long time! It took 3 weeks to reach me from the States. Indonesian Postal Service is slow lately So basically it’s part of the June’s haul

Silk Naturals Order

SN has tons of interesting stuffs. For one, they provide white MMU foundation. Every MMU foundation that I’ve tried is several shades darker than my face; even the fairest color from Everyday Minerals or Ciel Minerals or Lumiere! Lumiere does provide white foundations too, but I was interested in SN due to the high rating in MakeupAlley and FashioneseDaily.

All of the items are sample sizes except for the 2% BHA Toner. I desperately need BHA again to control my blemishes!

The second one is not really a package. Today I ran to Kanebo Lunasol counter grab 2 palettes for a MUA member, she wants to CP them from me.

I’ve always been allured by Lunasol palettes, they have so many pretty ones! But when the MA cracked those baby open in front of me, I nearly fainted. They’re soooo damn pretty! The pic doesn’t do them justice, trust me on this one.

So why I never hauled Lunasol? Well. Just because. I’m quite dedicated to Stila, you know? :p I believe if I ever slow down from Stila, I’ll haul Lunasol. I think they have similar color schemes! Tons of cool, cute, pastel colors gradation in pinks, purples, etc.

*Notice that I said “if I ever slow down from Stila”? If you remember well, I said that I took a break from Stila.
