Review: BRTC Ice Green Tea Fluid

BRTC Ice Green Tea Fluid

From The Box:
Containing abundant green tea substance, revitalizes to the tired skin while providing plentiful moisture to the dehydrated and brittle skin for creating dewy soft and fresh look

My Skin Type:
Ranging from very dry to normal/combo. Generally dehydrated, very sensitive.

Packaging:
Pump bottle with separate plastic cap to secure the pump. The bottle is made of transparent green dove glass.

Texture:
Slick gel-liquid that is very easy to spread and sinks in easily. More liquid than its serum counterpart.

My General Review:
This is part of the BRTC Ice Green Tea series, claiming to contain 10% green tea water. I combined this with the BRTC Ice Green Tea Serum, using the Fluid first since it’s a toner. I usually just pump it to my palm and lightly pat it into my skin. It sinks in easily, feels slightly hydrating.

Followed with BRTC Ice Green Tea Serum, I think it enhances the effect of the serum. Result is hydrated, smooth skin. Pores plumped up nicely.

BTW, the fragrance in this toner is similar to the serum counterpart, but is milder. As usual I don’t really feel safe using fragranced product, but the result so far is good. Overall I’ll highly recommend this to complement the serum

Availability:
I get this mainly in Korea, of course. BRTC is available in several Asian countries right now, like Taiwan or Singapore. Maybe you can also get it there.

Price:
KRW20,000 for 120ml.

What Else You Need To Know:
All antioxidants must be kept in airtight and opaque container, since they will be rendered useless if they’re exposed to light and air. Therefore I feel a bit insecure since the green glass packaging is not exactly opaque, even though a pump is a good idea.

Ingredients:
No full ingredients listed on the web, nor on the full size product At least none written in English.

Hope it doesn’t contain irritant, otherwise I’ll have to let my whole stock go

Overall Rating:
4 out of 5. Nice toner, especially to complement BRTC Ice Green Tea Serum. My only qualm is the fact that it’s fragranced.

My General Review:
If a BRTC BB Cream, a makeup item, can help you achieve healthier skin, what about a dedicated BRTC skincare item? Isn’t it supposed to be even better? That’s my reaction when I saw BRTC this product. Sadly, there’s no extensive review of this item that I can found in the net. At least not one written in English/Indonesia ^^;; So you can say that I bought this item out of curiosity. From the BRTC official website, I perceieve that this serum is meant for soothing, hydrating, and brightening.

I do have sensitive skin, but maybe since I’m a bit cautious in assembling my skincare regimen, soothing effect may not be that visible. And my skin is already fair, and it has a bit of glow already, so brightening effect is not strong too. But as for hydrating, yes, I think this helps hydrate my dry/combo skin. It sinks easily, so it’s not sticky/oily in the least. It smooths out my pores too!

The downside, for me, is the fragrance. Fragrance can be irritating, so it’s very out of place to put it on a soothing skincare. I gauge my skin carefully though, and it doesn’t seem to give off reactions.

BTW, speaking of reactions, I was initially wary of the word “ice”. I’m afraid it uses irritating ingredients like Mint, Menthol, or Alcohol to give tingling sensation. It doesn’t give cool effects though, luckily. If I ever found a full ingredients list of this product and if it does contain irritants, I’ll have to sell all of my stocks

As far as I can see in the Korean website, the key ingredients are Green Tea Water, Hyaluronic Acid, Algae Extract, and Panthenol. These are all good ingredients.

Overall Rating:
4 out of 5. Nice texture, hydrating, well-priced serum. 1 point off due to the fragrance, and I doubt in its rather transparent packaging. I will still recommend this serum though.

Yup it’s the Feverlet HD BB! Look at the pretty golden brown lacey box! Freshly received from Korea. I used EMS again, this time it takes 4 days to reach me. Not bad..

Feverlet HD Make-Up BB Cream

The box contain 2 tubes of Feverlet HD BB. A full size 50ml tube, and a mini 15ml travel size tube. I’ve agreed with my friend that I’ll take the mini one. Tried it today, and it’s seems great! It has SPF30/PA++ too. An improvement from the old Feverlet BB indeed. I’ll surely review it later

BRTC Jasmin Water BB Cream

Sure, I didn’t just get the sample packs, but the full tube too I was given a sample before and I loveeee this BB cream a lot! Even though I’m wary actually…it claims to have 5% Jasmine Water, ugh. Jasmine is an irritant But the finish it gives is lovely. D’oh! Why am I ranting after I get the item anyway?

Leave the non-sense alone. I didn’t just get BRTC you know. I warmly welcome Skin79 Diamond Collection too!

Skin79 Precious Diamond BB Cream SPF25/PA++ & Sun Balm Moist SPF50/PA+++

Ignore the blurry mess please I also *LOVE* this BB cream a lot, I’m tempted to buy the Skin79 mini set The texture is light fluid cream that is easy to blend, the color is light enough for me, it gives sheer-medium coverage, and stay bright even after 17 hours with minimum touch up!

And at first, I want to get the BRTC Sun Balm….but I spotted this Skin79 Diamond Sun Balm cheap. Around USD10 shipped? Plus LotusPalace said the texture is wonderful too. I didn’t regret it. The texture is divine, I tell you. It doesn’t feel like sunscreen at all! It’s like a primer balm. It feels siliconey, makes the skin feels ultra smooth without greasy feeling. Makeup glides on top *very* easily. I said before that I need primer to help my BB cream blends on top of non greasy sunscreen, with this, not anymore! Seems to help control oil too? Perfection.

In fact, I may use this as my primer. It’s that good! I’ll use it for longer time, and then full review sure to follow.

Paula's Choice Serum & Hydrating Mask

Despite all those BRTC lot, honestly, my main skincare will still be PC and Clinique or some Estee Lauder. My skin hate fragrances you know So I restocked my Paula’s Choice Skin Recovery Super Antioxidant Concentrate. There’s no way I’ll live without this And the Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment Mask. Highly recommended for very dry skin. I use this as night cream, twice a week now. It used to be every night
