My Skin Type:
Nowadays it’s pretty normal, just slightly oily in the t-zone and slightly dry on the jaw line.
Packaging:
Typical for a cleansing oil, pump bottle…I think DHC also supplied a plastic neck stopper, in case you want to take it for travel.
Texture:
DHC has always been cited as “the thicker oil” around the forums and beauty reviews. Fortunately, it’s not that super thick that it’s difficult to spread around. Yes it’s thicker than Shu Uemura c/o, but it’s thinner than MUJI Sensitive c/o. It’s about the same texture with Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil.
My General Review:
I guess DHC is one of the most popular c/o out there, along with Shu Uemura and maybe Fancl. However I failed to see that the fuss is all about 
Texture wise, it’s okay. Even though I personally prefer thinner cleansing oils (like Kose Softymo), this texture is not a problem. Manageable. It’s not that thick and stiff that you have to use a lot. Around 2-3 pumps will give me oils to cover my face and neck. It’s easy to emulsify and rinses clean without residue, check. No dried skin, not oily and slimy either. Just nice and normal.
So why am I not impressed?
It’s the cleansing power that has a bit to desire. For normal, everyday makeup or water resistant sunscreens it works okay. However when I wear just slightly thicker layer of mascara with base, then I have to rub, rub, rub to get it all off. Not good! I wonder if I use this to clean up a super water resistant sunscreen (like those heavy duty Avene SPF50). I’m bet it will fail me!
Really, there’s other cleansing oil that does the job better out there. At a cheaper price too!

It’s mineral-oil free, like Fancl and MAC c/o.
Application:
Dispense into dry hands, then massage dry face to dissolve makeup, dirt and other impurities. Rinse thoroughly.

Price:
Not the cheapest c/o on the block. S$43.00 at Watson’s. I’ve spotted this for S$39.90 at Guardian though.

Olea Europaea (olive) Fruit Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sorbeth-30 Tetraoleate, Tocopherol, Phenoxyethanol, Propylparaben, Stearyl Glycyrrhetinate, Rosmarinus Officinalis (rosemary) Leaf Oil.
Overall Rating:
4 out of 5. If you only wear thin, basic makeup daily this will be sufficient. But be warned that it doesn’t do bang up job in removing tough, super waterproof mascaras.

weeh…gw demen sama DHC ini. I’m no cleansing-oil-experienced though, gw baru pernah nyobain 3 jenis cleansing oil all my life. I even ditched my Kose Softymo karena ga suka, bukan karena ga cocok. Personally I like it thicker, ternyata Muji lebih thick lagi ya? Is it still easy to spread?
What I really like is the effect afterwards, superclean and feels like helping to reduce oil too. Tapi mikir lagi mo repurchase, who knows if there’s something that performs as well as this in friendlier price
MUJI lebih kaku, agak lebih sulit nge spread nya gak kayak DHC.
dibanding DHC gue lebih suka fancl mild cleansing oil. lebih bersih, tesktur sih sama
Hmmm…. saat ini gw make mac cleanse off oil, sebelumnya pake clinique cleansing balm, gw juga pernah pake softymo white (ahem, hasil baca2 blog loe ni cres

Kayanya, diantara ketiga itu, favorit gw tetep si clinique deh… Untuk mbersihin waterproof mascara en sunblock. Kalo utk daily, kose softymo white cukuplah…. Pake mac or clinique tiap hari muka gw dehidrasi
iye, clinique ama mac parah tuh dulu ngeringinnya di kulit gue. tapi dulu kulit gue emang parah juga sih keringnya hahaha. sekarang si jadi normal/combo gt, maybe bisa sih pake mac lagi.
skr gue pake fancl say, uda mao abis si. oke tuh, tapi mahal ah.
